Callers to a freephone number advertising a US golf tournament in 2001 were surprised to hear a sultry female voice telling them they had "come to the right place for nasty talk with big-busted girls". A one-digit error published in 100,000 brochures for the Tournament of Roses in Pasadena, California  led callers to a sex line instead of the golf line.
